Quite a few people in the IT industry are stuck. This course is to enable you to shift your thinking from being “happily unhappy” with your lot to being a true enabler of yourself and the team you are in.

This course covers 4 lessons that deal with some crucial elements to help you navigate the murky waters of the IT world:

1. Taking Responsibility

How taking on more responsibility makes you become more visible

2. Becoming Visible

How becoming visible boosts your personal brand as a problem solver and enabler

3. Educate yourself

How you should never stop learning and never stop sharing what you have learned

4. Corporate Politics

Should politics be ignored? What types of politics in an organization exists? How do we navigate our way around them?

At the end of each section you will be required to answer the questions under the relevant topic in the course forum. It is strongly recommended that you reach out to other members of the course group and form a community of practice where you can share experiences and solve problems together.
